will not engage your childish nonsense
go pick a fight worth picking, not on a stupid fb comment.
cos' other people in the world have better things on their mind than to be grammatically PERFECT all the time.
and there is no such thing as "I HAD TO".
moral high horses are dangerous. |

Despite this week being really stressful, there are still so many things to thank God for;
FLEATIQUE at 8Q (plus supper);
Starbucks Christmas cups;
Sam's birthday lunch with loads of heartfelt sharing and B&J Merlionsterrrrr!
Having a good laugh at the top of SupremeCourt with the CivPro folks;
Having Adam Road Nasi Lemak and Island Cremery's Reverso+Burnt Caramel (:D:D:D);
got a new tumblr layout (alter ego blog);
praying with the DG girls (almost full attendance!)
mini hthts here and there with Bekah (:D:D:D:D)
finished watching SATC movie (gee, I cried so much when Charlotte hugged Carrie after she smashed the flowers on Big)
and of course,
time spent in the quiet, in the stillness, I know You are there.

Riz, a resident of Singapore, is a customer of Boomz Bank, incorporated and operating in South Africa. The contract between Riz and Boomz Bank is governed by the law of South Africa. Boomz Bank mistakenly sends a cheque to Riz (to Riz’s address in Singapore) for the sum of US$5,000, which Riz cashes in Singapore. Riz thinks that she has won a lucky draw prize (Riz had completed and returned a survey form from Boomz bank half a year ago, which had indicated a prize for a lucky winner, but Riz cannot remember the details), and spends the money on a dream holiday on a Tanzanian safari watching leopards preen, a holiday which she otherwise would not have been able to afford. Assume that under Singapore law, Riz is liable to return the sum in restitution but has a full defence based on a bona fide change of position. Under the law of South Africa, Riz is liable to return the sum in restitution and no defence is available to Riz on the facts. Advise Riz, who is being sued by Boomz Bank in Singapore. Assume that the Singapore court has and will exercise jurisdiction. Does it matter whether Boomz Bank had sent the cheque to Riz using Riz’s address in its customer database, or had used Riz’s personal particulars as provided by a third party?

There are tangible reasons why it feels so home to be at CROOM.
Today, we finally had DG. 4 weeks short of having, but having all 4 out of 5 girls is definitely a blessing only from God. Just having them come together and sharing from the heart just melts my heart.
And funny how it takes these things to remind me - why not invest time in the more important things like seeking His kingdom first and everything else is secondary. Because ultimately, where your treasure is, there your heart will be.
Plus a long overdue H.T.H.T with a dear xj/karl/ethan, whichever he likes to go by was really good Astons time spent :) AWESOME QUALITY TIME x784965085507059 I've had in a while. There is something about sharing to build one another up and to learn from each other's struggles that pushes us to see the God factor in everything :) Thank you bro :)

Yesterday during DG, I rediscovered faith.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly. Hebrews 11:6
Fighting Goliath was probably the biggest thing that ever happened when David was a youth - but his faith in God and his confidence that God would see him through really shone through the scripture reading. I remembered us discussing how confident he sounded that if we did not know who was his God, he would definitely come across as being arrogant. But most importantly, I think it was a revisit back to basics. When it's so easy to lapse into worrying and relying on your own strength subconsciously - - I thank God for such timely reminders and nudges :)
Perhaps I have a habit of not journalling done as much as I wished I did. That it's getting so hard to remember events, incidents and what nots. But something Lindy said, really struck me (and I think the rest of us) -- how often do we only remember the hard times that we have been through instead of remembering how God actually brought us through? I remembered making it through every exam, making it through jc, through internship and going through various rough patches, and yet it is so hard to remember how He was moving in my life, probably because I was too focused on myself to see the big picture.
And yet His promises and His mercies are new Every Morning. It's not dependent on whether we come to Him or whether we fulfill our 'duties' as a Christian. He is just faithful by being. Wow.
:)
